Every Kid Deserves to Play
The Athlete Access Fund exists so financial circumstances never keep a committed athlete off the court.
Sky Volleyball and its member clubs believe access to sport builds confidence, community, and lifelong healthy habits. The fund supports families who need help covering the cost of participation — from registration fees to travel and equipment — with every application reviewed confidentially by a small review committee.
Key Information
- Assistance is directed at program registration fees first (up to $500 per calendar year per athlete), with travel, equipment, and emergency hardship support considered case by case.
- Support is not retroactive — please register for the program before or while you apply.
- Applications are reviewed monthly. Submit by the 15th of the month to be included in that month's review.
- Please allow a minimum of three weeks for processing and follow-up.
Eligibility
- Priority is given to athletes 18 and under registered (or registering) in a Sky Volleyball program.
- Proof of total household income is required — e.g. CRA Notice of Assessment, proof of social assistance, or foster parent status.
- Approved assistance is applied directly to program fees at the club — it is not paid out to families.
